GHSLA
2002 offered many oppotunities for highly enjoyable professional growth.
Humorist,
musician and motivational speaker Dick Albin leads a seminar
on humor in the workplace.
Miriam
Hudgins seems quite pleased with the door prize she won at the
business meeting luncheon (she probably can't wait to return to Mercer
to catalog this item).
Faye
Evatt, who retired shortly after GHSLA 2002, was honored at the
business luncheon for her many contributions to medical librarianship
in Georgia. Faye's unique blend of humor and high-quality library service
has long been an inspiration to her colleagues.
Lee
Smith, Director of Bioterrorism Preparedness, Georgia Department of
Human Resources/Division of Public Health, presented a seminar entitled
Bio-terrorism Preparedness in the Hospital Setting - How Will
Medical Libraries Be Involved?
